George Lepp Series 1

I am doing a series imitating the nature photographer, George Lepp's style. He takes pictures of flowers. He shoots using unique perspectives and angles, and almost always fills up the image with the flower, so that there is usually no background. I tried to incorporate his style into my work. I hope you like it.

Series Project: Carousel Animals 2

These photos are basically the same style as the last post except these have blurred backgrounds to make the animals and their expressions stand out more. I hope you like them.

For my series project, I decided to take pictures of carousel animals. For more details about that, please look at my previous post. This is the first of two posts for this series. In the second the photos will have blurred backgrounds so that the animals pop out more. I hope you like it.

Series Project: Rough Draft

For my series project, I decided to take pictures of carousel animals. This includes horses, lions, reindeer, and ostriches so far. These pictures are all from the SF Zoo but I am going to take more. I chose this subject because I like how much feeling and expression are in the faces. Some of the faces are more expressive then real live people. Also, I like carousels. Enjoy!
